Dr Robin Edwards

I am a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist based at the Raffles Women's Centre in Singapore.

Originally from the UK, I trained at the University of Newcastle and completed my postgraduate specialist training in London and Kent. I was a consultant in the UK for 8 years prior to relocating to Singapore.

My background is in both obstetrics and gynaecology. I routinely manage pregnancies that are low risk, and those where complications may arise. I have a special interest in colposcopy and the management of pre-invasive disease of the cervix, and treating gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis and ovarian cysts through minimally invasive surgery.

I enjoy all aspects of Women's Health and am happy to consult and advise on any area of concern, whether routine antenatal care, delivery, routine check ups and screening or the long term management of complex conditions.

I am married to a Singaporean, a fellow doctor, and we have three children.

What services do you offer?

We provide a full range of obstetric and gynaecological services from routine screening, general gynaecology, minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, through to maternity and delivery care.

What if I already have a gynaecologist?

It is always a pleasure to liaise with your previous doctor or your gynaecologist in your home country to ensure that your routine needs can be met whilst in Singapore.

What if my previous records are in another language?

No problem! Most medical terminology is easy to translate and interpret so we can discuss how your previous care can be continued in Singapore, saving you unnecessary repeat tests and procedures.

How can I maintain my medical records whilst in Singapore?

The Raffles Medical Group maintains secure, interconnected electronic medical records to ensure your medical records are available whenever you need. Medical reports, insurance correspondence and onward referrals can easily be arranged.
